Yes, Silencers are Legal* - AAC CANU Silencer University

I recently was approved by BATFE  to build a short barreled rifle. I will be doing this with great joy once I return from my current deployment in Iraq. At first, attempting to wade through the bureaucracy to be able to own a NFA (National Firearms Act) gun seemed to be very difficult. It proved to be quite simple. Next on my list is a silencer!

Advanced Armament Corp. is a quality silencer maker and has benefited greatly from being brought into the fold of Remington's Military arm along with AR makers Bushmaster and DPMS.  With an increase in funding AAC's research and development can continue to be on the leading edge of silencer technology.  They also want to remind you that silencers are legal* and available!
AAC has produced their CANU Silencer University.  It has been founded to educate the public on the technology, legality, and options available to them. They offer an undergraduate program for the public and a graduate program for dealers.  I've completed the undergraduate and was surprised by how much I learned. Once you complete your final exam you'll receive special deals and discounts.  The only problem I ran into was that once I completed the course I had made up my mind... I need a silencer!

Silencers are legal to U.S. residents, 21 years of age and older, a non-felon and lives in one of the 37 States that allow private ownership of silencers.
Legal in: AL, AR, AK, AZ, CO, CT, FL, GA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MS, MD, MT, ND, NE, NV, NH, NM, NC, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, VT, VA, WA, WI, WV, and WY
