Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat necked the .223 Remington up to .30 caliber and essentially created a lighter kicking, flatter shooting version of a .30-30 Winchester that works in an AR 15. The only modification needed is a new barrel. It’s called the 7.62 X 40 WT. Simply brilliant!
