Masterpiece Arms MPA57SST 5.7x28

I don't know why the 5.7x28mm round excites me, but it does. It's kind of like how some people find the Taurus Judge or S&W Governor cool (they don't get me going). My problem is the PS-90 and Five-Seven pistol aren't on my short list or even my bucket list of firearms. For the past couple of years I've looked at buying a 57Center AR57 upper for my AR, but have never pulled the trigger.

Now I find two firearms in the past week chambered in 5.7x28 that I'd be willing to add to my collection. First is the Savage 25 Walking Varminter which could only be better if it came with a factory threaded barrel. Second is the Masterpiece Arms MPA57SST; being a bit more exotic it peaks my interests:
