SIG MK25 Hits the Shelves!

The SIG MK25 is just a railed 226 but what makes it 'cool' is that with the addition of an anchor it becomes identical to the pistol used by the U.S. Navy Seals. Meh... I know some folks will think this is the "best thing ever" but it's really just a 226.

If I were you and you were me you'd be making this post and would also prefer the SIG 226 'TacOps'... it's pretty badass.

  1. I think it also has a few internals (springs and what not) that are different, but its not anything SIG-nificant (Yeah, you see what I did there)

I personally would gladly take any 226 of any flavor. Love those guns.

  2. Well, the SIG P226 TacOps is a "cool" looking sidearm but that's all it is, fluff, all be it nice fluff. *LOL*

The SIG Mk25 has more under the hood than just the archor insigna. The rail is true 1913 Picatinny, unlike the rails on most other sidearms, including SIG's. This allows for the use all ALL picatinny accessories that you might have equipped on your M4 as well.

Additionally, because this is the new Navy version of the P226, designated as Mk25, it has parts that have been treated with the some treatment that most MilSpec M4's have, making them corrosion resistant to the elements.
